Much Needed Vette Theropay
Was out cruising for a much needed Vette therapy cruise when a black C6 Z06 pulled up behind me. We cruised through traffic for a mile or two and then he pull up along side me and gave me the . We rolled for about another mile or so and I headed for the highway to the house. When I noticed him behind me but not to close and with no cars in sight I down shifted and let her roar. I hit about 90 or so and he was tucked in nice and tight but not to close so I put the hammer down. When I checked the heads up display I was around 112 and then he eased up next to me and then passed me, I was around 5 to 6 car lengths behind him for a 1/2 mile or so and we shut it down at around 120 and exited. Wow, I have not had a chance to play with a C6 Z06 with a experienced driver. He slowed down and rolled down the window with the thumbs up again. That was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the hot afternoon before heading home. I'm not sure he opened her up or not but I do remember a sweet roar as he passed me, can not believe I was able to hang 6 car lengths behind a C6 Z06. I always thought I would be smoked by one..Perhaps he was just toying we me? I do not normally engage in such activity but I could not pass up the chance to play with a C6Z06. Thanks for playing had a MEMORABLE afternoon..

6 car lengths is a lot in a short run.
Glad you had fun! Mario |

Having run with quite a few C6 Z06s, I would say he was just fooling around. Have tested a good number of these cars on the back straightaway at VIR. When I come out of "OakTree" with a new Z06 behind me, I floor it and give the signal to pass. I just watch the tail lights leave me. Believe me, these cars "haul the freight".
