My mom just lost a portion of a lung to cancer and I know the constant stress is exhausting for those of us that love her. I hope you never feel alone with that.

in addition to caring for someone you love, and not wanting them to hurt, there's the uncertainty of life.

will i wake up tomorrow? will she? will you? no one knows until you do.

but on the positive, we know, that no matter how long or short God gives us, we know where we're going next, to spend eternity with God, so we take comfort in that promise.

it was just over a year ago, when we returned from wrapping up my Dad's affairs in WY, that she was very ill. had a doc appt, doc said you need to go to the ER, right now, we did, and she spent 6 days in ICU. those were hard, and lonely days back home here. very quiet come dinner time.
