They did a good job in casting matching Beth up with Herschel. She looks just like she could be his real daughter.

I'm glad to see she was catatonic/depressed and not zombie rabid, too.

The visceral, shoot-em-up, sound effects are cool, too. I read somewhere they snaked a garden hose with running water through a section of PVC pipe too get the sound of the gun stuck in the doomed walker's mouth!

That's always been the primary angst-builder since last season.

I mean, you have this idyllic, rustic, farm straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting with mofo's sitting on the front porch sipping lemondage, then all of sudden, a walker comes and takes a bite out of a mofo's cranium!

I expect to see it any minute whenever they show a porch scene!

This last episode reminded me of differences between liberal vs conservatives:

Liberal - well lets not kill him just yet as I don't know...
Conservative - kill the SOB. He was shooting at us

Liberal - got to watch the girl if she decides to commit suicide
Conservative - leave her alone. If she wants to then there is nothing you can do

Besides this, the graphics are great. Liked when they were leaving from the parked bus, and the car ran over a zombie head.

Andrea reminds me of actress Lisa Ryder. In fact, I thought that's who she was until I read the credits on the trailer.
