Have not shopped there in 40 years. That said, have been camping/doing outdoors stuff since 1965 and in that 59 years, have seen TWO black people hiking/camping. Both were women, both with white men.

I live on a large lake in Northern NY. This whole area is considered a tourist area. We have great leaf peeping, hunting, fishing/ice fishing, boating, hiking, snowmobiling (this year a exception as we hardily got any snow) Many great restaurants and lots to do.

I know of one black family living up here year around on this large lake. Do not know of any blacks owning summer camps, never see them at the state campsites, out fishing on the lake or even boating or driving through!

I have a black friend who I asked about why no blacks. His reply, "I cannot speak for all but I got no desire to sleep on the ground, get ate up by mosquitoes or other bugs or just plain spend time in the woods"!

Say what you want but its rather peaceful up here not having to put up with all the bullshit that comes when too many blacks get in a area.

So let me see if I have this straight, a marketer of expensive outdoor clothing and equipment is trying to market to underprivileged poor people by giving rich white people (who like going camping and hiking to get away from brown people) a 20% discount if they sit through an hour long browbeating by woke marketers.
