John, where in hell they going to GO with it?? jeebus, everyone is running out of ideas on car designs, retro, modern, LED, lights, plastic teardrops/teardrips, curve it this way that way, until all cars look alike anymore...

All this aero/economy shit takes the computer to one conclusion, and so ALL cars of a type look the same, swap the name tags around and it takes a expert to tell the difference.....

that and the round LEDs are probably a shelf item. If they were to use the actual taillights and you could see them through the camo like you can see the LED clusters through the camo it would be too much of a give-away on the taillight design. I, for one, think that they will go with a more square design similar to the camaro and am ok with that. If you want round taillights, go but an 84

Interesting group of pics in the link. Two different cars. Looks more like just another C6 with a few exterior mods than a different body style. I look forward to real publicity photos...

I think it is the other way around. Look how much wider the tires are on the bottom picture.

That REALLY looks like a C6 roof panel. Appears to be a targa top as usual too.

But the side marker lights seen to be along the edges of the wheelwells as they were in the Jalopnik illustrations

From what I can see its no real improvement from the current design of the C6 erm C5.5.

I do agree however with removing the fatman seats... using coilovers... forget automatics all together but its not going to happen.

Id love to see a drastic change in the design, however GM is gonna ride the C5 type body style for a long time till it looks too outdated.

I think you're wrong. The car with the cannons is running Z06 wheels, and has bigger brakes. I think that this is the Z06 and the other car is the base model.
