Those with HID fogs. Where'd you mount your ballasts?
Got my 4300k slim-ballast HID setup from JWMotoring yesterday. Looks like a very nice kit and is 100% plug/play. I can't believe how much the cost of HIDs has come down over the years. I paid $90 for this setup and they used to be $300+.
Seems that the popular ballast mounting places for the fogs are as follows: 1. 3m double sided tape the the inside of the front frame rails. 2. Use the supplied mount bracket and the bolt that holds the actual foglight to the frame. I'm leaning toward location #2. Anyone else have tips/tricks/ideas? I'll be taking the whole front bumper off b/c I've got new turns signals and OEM Z06 screens to install (not using the velco method). ~Brian
