Tonight it'll be -2° and tomorrow it won't be much better.
I hate this crap.
I actually looked at Zillow for houses in Phoenix today..
Dreaming , of course, I tried to convince Liz that there are no allergies there.
She didn't fall for it.

We have an 80% chance of rain/freezing rain tomorrow. It then heads up into the 50's and low 60's by the weekend. I'll be glad for the warm up. This has been one wet cold winter around here. We didn't get all the snow that the northeast got but the damn ice has hung around for two weeks now. I still have 1/2 inch of ice in our back yard. I'm ready for some warm weather with plenty of sunshine.

Its going to get to 40 here. Much better than the negative numbers I've been seeing. I never thought I'd see a number above zero in the morning and think "Its not too bad out there"

I wouldn't want to live in Florida year round.
It's a melting pot of scum bags down there. Every time I'm down there you see on the news that two kids get abducted and there's a murder every day.
We have murders but not as many as Florida.
The 7-11's here employ white anglo-saxon folk, not full blown Arabs.

We have at least 1/2" ice in the back and front yard along with the driveway having ice ridges of around 6" tall, but you can't see it for the snow on top of it. Tuesday will be 2 weeks since the ice fell.

Are you on a rotating shift? My first job out of high school was on a two week rotating shift of a 24 hour operation. That sucked big time

Please don't take this as "I'm so glad I live in the Sunny South", because we've had some wicked weather this Winter, but the forecast calls for mid- to upper-60s the next few days and 79 late this week. Which is nice in a way, but I hope it isn't a sustained spell of heat; that'll just cause a repeat of what happened last year: Fruit trees start budding out and blooming, then a freeze that kills all prospect of fruit.
