Covid vacinne

Kinda in the same as the covid stuff thread but different enough for seperate thread I think so we can discuss it here instead of mingled in.
Anyway about the vacinne...
1. When it is available will you take it?
2. Will you when your employer requires it?
3. Will you take it when required for schooling in person(obviously meant for your kids) college included?
4. Will you take it when required for traveling either via airplane or to other countries?
5. If no to #1 will you just wait(yea i know shoukd have been #2 question) and see what happens to others?
6. If you do not take it what do you do about other restrictions they may impose? (Canada talking about restrictions of travel and masks etc if don't have vaccination).
7. Since it's mutating do you think repeat (well really a different vacinne) will be needed?

I'll start.
1. Probably not(if had elderly parents I'd say yes)
2. What choice would i have.
3. If kid in school still yes i suppose.
4. No, not just for this reason
5. Most likely senario for me
6. I can see this being an issue if we don't get a handle on this
7. I hope not but I can see a new vacinne every year just like the flu.

As for the vaccine, I have no plans to get it.

I am super skeptical of this shit and I will not be first in line to get the vaccine. In fact unless required I will likely not get it.

They are already talking about about penalizing people that do not get vaccinated by limiting their ability to move freely in society.

That is pretty ****ed up.

If it comes to that I guess I will have to make some difficult choices.

2.Probably won't happen, Too small of Company.

4. N/A for now, don't plan on any type of mass transit.
5. I figure I'm a month or 2 out before its available to me (67 y/o),
plenty of time to see if any zombies appear before then.

7. Yes. I have read some where that the current vaccine may only be
reliable until the next season flu bug comes along - 6 months or so.

Now, having had C-19 which required 13 days of Hospitalization, and I'm still on oxygen 25+ days later, I don't want to go thru this shit again.

Here is my issue with it. If it is not kept at the correct temperature, it will be ineffective. However, the only way you'll know is if you get Covid. An what if the first shot is good and the second one bad, or vice versa? You'll never know...until you get Covid.

Well if somebody hadn't lost half the coolers wouldn't be an issue.

As someone who has already recovered from the virus and has immunity, I would expect you to be at the very back of the line when it comes to vaccinations.

From what I understand, the guess is that an annual or every 3 year shot MAY be needed.


I always get the flu shot and am knee deep in influenza patients yearly, have not had the flu in 20 years.


This is a newer form of vaccine, but the research I have done on it, makes e very confident that the risk of adverse reaction is extremely low.

Hope you do STILL have immunity. We test often for immunity in patients and they are not showing to have prolonged antigens. Mine were gone < than 4 months.

I will wait a bit and see what happens to the general population first. If forced, I will seek the Moderna version because a bit of warmth is less critical to potency.

I do suspect some mutagenesis will occur and expect to need additional immunization as the bug evolves.

I take a flu shot every year since I had my spleen removed back in mid 80's. Taking this shot is not a big deal for me. As soon as the doc says it's ready, I'll get it.
