Nope... I never mind at all and even better when you're struggling and have a tank top on or low cut top

We have my truck for towing and that will be fine.

I have the 6ft bed. It's a standard ext. cab 1500. The thing barely fits in the driveway as it it with the legacy parked there too.

I'm independent too and can fully understand that need, however if it is to be your daily driver, you will be wearing skirts and getting in and out can be an issue. Dawn had the same issue I did, so take that into consideration when you buy a truck/suv. Wear a skirt when you go shopping for it see which one is easiest to get in and out of. That's the best advice any female truck owner can give to another considering that purchase.

That's why I went with cute ute it does most of the functions of a truck but I can wear anything getting in/out of it. I can take the roof off and fold the seats down for a little more extra storage, like I mentioned earlier...I didn't haul refrigerators or dishwashers (besides most stores deliver) all I hauled was my trailer ramps and some spare parts in the bed of my truck.

Exactly. Several family members asked us when we were going to sell the truck after we sold the enclosed trailer and race car. Our response was never. When asked why we asked why should we? The truck is paid for and when we need a truck for towing or hauling we have it. A one ton truck is over kill for most of what we do but it sure is nice to be able to tow or haul anything we want.

even better...

i'm down to a truck only, had to sell the vette when we moved. got a rural 15 acre property, and on visiting it before we made an offer discovered that the rutted dirt 'driveway' would high center a vette in about 12 seconds if i tried it. needed the truck more for hauling stuff for home renovation, plan to get another vette someday, once renovation work slows down and i get the driveway sorted out....

That looks like my first Dodge. That was traded for an extended cab 3/4 ton V10 5sp. I LOVED that truck!!! Not much gas mileage with that when I got the 3 horse gooseneck trailer so the V10 was traded for a 3/4 ton diesel. Good truck but not nearly as much fun as the V10.

That sounds like a great plan to me.

The guy I dated just prior to purchasing my truck had the V-10 5 spd blk, but he was in the process of getting an enclosed trailer at that time. I have a 22 ft hitch to end open car trailer, and the 360 did a great job of hauling but the gears were 3:55 and seem to not want to pull out in traffic as fast as I would like it. And I'm guessing yours was worse than mine...didn't have a gas pump for guage it had a mouth that just said constantly...FEED ME!!

If I remember correctly I got 12-14 mpg with it.

Here's a pic of the truck we have now and the trailer we borrowed to pick up the Camaro from Houston.

Here's a better pic of the truck.

I'll have to dig up and scan a pic or two of the Dodge(s).

Thank you!

It's like of hard to compare it to the Dodge since all of my Dodge's were 3/4 ton vs the 1 ton. I can say that it pulls like a dream though. I didn't even know that 30' trailer with a 3000+ lb car in it was back there. At one point I was cruising down the highway and happened to look at the speedometer to see that I was doing 90. Oops!!!

I think you have it wrong. I think women wear the skirts when they test drive vehicles so they can get discounts from the male salesmen.
