Default Data, Drew, GRN et alia - Pfadt stuff?

Guys,

I'm slowly modding my 1998 to be a better performing car, but after I replaced my seats with Corbeaus (whooaaaaa... what a difference) I'm pretty sure I want to upgrade the suspension parts first, rather than the usual round of engine mods.

My '98 has too much body roll for the kind of cornering I'm (trying) to do... she's loose, in NASCAR parlance.

I want to do swaybars and dampers next.

Pfadt is running a summer special "Johnny O'Connell Signature" swaybars and dampers, with end links and bushings.

Johnny O?Connell Signature Suspension ? Stage 1

The price is only $950... that seems like a real bargain to me.

Do you have an opinion on how much of an improvement I might see, on my C5?

* * *

Also my car has the 3-position damping control - FX3, F45, whatever they call it on the C5. Does anyone have experience replacing these with non-electronic dampers, so that "Service Ride Control" doesn't become a permanent DIC nuisance?

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I think that is clearly the best bang-for-the-buck suspension mod you can do to the car - It will turn in a LOT more quickly and hanlde a lot more predictably through the coner, and be easier to catch if you lose it.

Do it!
