Seems pretty simple to me. Woman calls in sexual assault happening in the alley behind her home. Several Somali men are raping some woman, Somali cop shows up and shoots hysterical witness, narrowly missing his partner, because she was trying to get his compatriots in trouble. Gunshot warns away the rapists. This is just a guess of course.

Kinda, kinda not. Without a doubt we are a liberal state, would't argue that. But we're not Baltimore liberal either. People here still believe in hard work, raising families and community service. We have a very good standard of living and employment is typically ahead of national average.

I lived six blocks from a primarily black housing project as a kid. It wasn't the nicest part of town I'll admit but the residents were just families trying to make their way and raise kids. The neighborhood was always concerned the 'Coloreds' were going to expand and overtake our little hamlet. Never happened. What DID happen was the Hmong flooded the area. And for the most part, they were just like the blacks; families trying to make their way and raise kids.

Unfortunately, in my lifetime here I've seen these things start to slip. More homeless in the area, more imports due to our liberal leanings and generous welfare system and more crime. It's a bummer because this state still has a lot of hard working folks.

That's where the left fails every time. In their mind, they want to put a minority in a highly visible public position to prove that a minority is just as capable as anyone else. A noble sentiment, but again they totally miss the point. They will dump the criteria of qualification and merit, and select anybody that meets the criteria of their social agenda. And every-time the result is the exact opposite of what they where hoping to achieve. If you put an incompetent person in the position, then you are going to have incompetent results. If you have put that person in the position because of their minority status, then the results are going to reflect on that minority and all you will have achieved is to make that minority as a whole look incompetent. Which in turn makes it doubly difficult for individuals of that minority that have achieved position through merit, qualification, and hard work. The left keeps racism alive and well.
