Default I didn't sleep good last night...

I get 9 hours of sleep every night because...well, for various reasons. I'm literally one of those people who doesn't remember his head hitting the pillow, and I sleep until I wake up. (That sounds stupid, doesn't it? Of course I'm not sleeping any longer if I wake up) Last night I couldn't go to sleep, just laid there until midnight, woke up every hour after that. Here's what happened; maybe you can help me figure it out:

Typically I get home and have a couple of drinks. Okay, okay a "few". Then I eat dinner about 6:30 or 7:00, and then have a "few", shall we say, after-dinner drinks. Last night, though, I went out to dinner and ate an hour or so later than usual. Because I'm an upstanding citizen I don't want to fall down, so I had just three drinks all evening.

I felt sleepy at 10:00, so I went to bed with the results described above. Today I'm exhausted. I think it was the change in schedule that caused it all, but tonight I'm taking no chances: I'm going to up the gin and tonics. I think my reasoning is sound, but I'll carefully consider your idiotic advice.

My sleeping habits are so fecked up lately I should probably take your advice and go make myself a drink right now...

For weeks now I go to bed by morning, and sleep all day, but the past week I can't sleep, and don't go to bed till about noon, then sleep till about 8 at night.

When my friends start drinking, I do not feel like it, nor can I justify drinking when I first wake up.

Hey 9 at night is my morning! I would be an alcoholic if I drank Rhum at 9 in the morning...

The only upside of this is that our internet connection is so slow through the daytime, but gets to be pretty decent right after midnight, so I can get a lot more work done.

Also can reply to most of my business emails a lot faster as I am awake during eastern USA time..

It was a limited-time offer. Sorry. There'll be another one in 2035.

Welp.. It's working Spence

Lost electric awhile ago around 5am or so, Propped the windows open with a few bamboo to let some light in, and went outside to greet fishermen coming in from the sea with a glass of rhum.

Got a handfull of free fish to eat now anyways..

Wasn't long and noticed the lights were back on at the house, so called it a day.

Almost 7am here now and ready to crash, so at least will be awake again today in the afternoon sometime.

I sleep about eight hours a day, just not in a row. But as long as you're getting enough R.E.M. sleep it's OK. I drift off to dream land in 10 minutes now I've got my mind trained to do that, so four hours at a time is max for me, and a good nap during the day. Just like animals in the wild, they don't grab all their Zzzz's all at once.
If you can't nod off in ten minutes, get up.
No use tossing and turning in bed......unless BB is there.

You can sleep with a blonde, and you can sleep with a brunette...but you'll get no sleep with a redhead. Wait....BB's a blonde....
