My '01 Suburban, turn key on, press accelerator 5 times and turn off. Oil change light is now reset, when you turn the key on next time, it'll flash 5 times and wait for 3K miles

On her Honda, it's press the trip ODOMETER button and hold in, turn ignition to ON position and hold button for 13 seconds until MAINTENANCE light goes out.

Then you're good-to-go until approx. 6,500 miles depending on driving conditions, engine operation, and other factors that detemine oil breakdown.
