Default I have lost faith in America

The election yesterday put the last nails in the coffin as far as I'm concerned. Not that I think Romney was going to be much of a saviour either, but I am amazed that a "plant" could actually be elected again. The powers that be are serving their UN/George Soros/socialist masters well. I had only hoped that Romney would slow the fall. It's a bit naive to think that we weren't going to collapse either way, but now we are on the fast track. We have let the nonproductive class take over and the rest of us are making up the slack with shrinking paychecks and more gov't intervention in our lives. America used to be a great country, but greed and self serving people have brought us to our knees. JoeCool, I hope you get everything you want out of this. It's painful to watch people with blinders on be led by the hand down a primrose path to hell. At least most of us see the evil for what it is. When your boat has too many emissions for you to operate it, you will be left scratching your head wondering what you stood for all these years. The coal that fires most of our powerplants in this country is completely under attack. How many more years do we have before we can no longer afford electricity???

I can't count how many times I've been deployed in the military, and yes, I'm deployed right now. It may be time for me to retire on out and move on. Most people in the military consider themselves true patriots, doing what is right for America. I've lost that faith......

Unfortunately, the people that invest the money that fuels the economy most likely agree with you. Without their money we'll just borrow more until we are all owned by the Chinese.

Never lose faith in America. No matter what he does or doesn't do, we will recover.

Oh, we'll recover but it's been a long 4 years and it's hard to start over again. Tomorrow is the first day and we need to hold him to his word and he owes us some answers.

I think the reset will be ugly. Our country and our way of life is being totally destroyed by these people. To say we are in serious trouble is an understatement. The handout class of people, will bleed those of us who produce until we dry up due to gov't redistribution. America may well indeed recover, but it won't be in our lifetimes.

24 hours ago, Romney was going to win in a landslide. I'm not sure people here are very good at predicting the future.

I hope I'm wrong about a lot of things. Obozo's EPA already has plans starting in Nov. in case he lost, to further gut the coal industry. We will feel funny when we can't afford to turn the lights on anymore.

24 hours ago we had hope that a majority of American people weren't sucking the tit of government to the point of total dependency. 24 hours ago the prospect of change in time to get back on the right track was still there.

We've now crossed over to allow the needy to become the greedy of everyone elses earnings.

I know exactly how you feel. Recently, I have been considering going back to active duty. My decision was not intended to be based at all on the outcome of this election. It wasn't even a factor. Seeing this has finally opened my eyes to the fact that the America that I know, love, and would gladly give my life for is quite simply gone. We are not anymore a nation of hard working, proud, selfless people. We are the opposite. obama is not the cause of this. I don't think that for even a minute. He is a result of it.

Unfortunately it is like a ratchet. Once people lose pride in their work; once they become entitled and think the world owes them something they don't come back from it. Follow on generations don't come back. The children of a welfare mom aren't suddenly going to develop a work ethic and bust their ass to succeed. Argue all you want... it's the truth. Personally, I feel we have reached the tipping point and will not recover. I'm not giving facts, stats, or numbers because I don't think it is measurable. The United States might continue to exist, but it is not the same nation.

Since I was 17 years old, I have dedicated myself to defending this country and every person in it. I did 4 reserve, 7 active, and 3 more reserve... As of today, after those 14 years, I'm done. I filled out my papers to resign my commission this morning and will be dropping them off on the way to my civilian job... where I bust my ass so others can sit on theirs.

Obama barely won. There is no mandate. Republicans still control the house and can block anything in the senate. The Fiscal Cliff is looming. Obama better try to work with those on the other side of the isle. He also has to be very afraid of the next midterm election.
I don't believe one man will fundamentally change this country. If he does, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

It is not about obama. He isn't the cause... he is the result.

I'm a 32 year old, hard working, middle class, white male who doesn't come from money, served honorably in the military, and takes responsibility for my own actions. I pay my debts. I don't live above my means. When times get tough, I tighten my budget and when they are better I do everything in my power to support American businesses with my spending.

This government has completely abandoned me in the name of votes. Democrats, Republicans, ... all of them.

If this is the path this country is taking... you can have it.

THIS!!

Here in MA they voted a WELL known lying corrupt worthless POS as governor removing one that had actually done SOME good. Why? Because I live in a BLUE state, and if satan himself were running as a Dem the MORONS in this state would vote for him JUST BECAUSE he is Dem.
I have come to the conclusion that I am surrounded by complete imbiciles who just plain refuse to actually EDUCATE themselves without bias.

Then I hear all this crap about how Romney didn't support womens right to equal pay and a bunch of other crap involving gay marriage and other bullshit...Which is COMPLETE crap if you actually did ANY research.

and really? is THAT what you are worried about right now? The rest of the world is LAUGHING at us, we are going broke while our illustrious leader just keeps giving handouts and writing checks with an empty bank account.

But are THEY to blame? NO!! WE ARE!! because as citizens the majority of us are complete imbeciles who don't want to bother educating ourselves before making decisions. We rely on what the MEDIA tells us and do exactly as they say.

****ing pathetic
