We'll need pics, too. We don't want you to blow yourself up during this process.

no, its exactly like in that video. just afraid im going to break it. it fits better in my purse without the extension. i have 3 magazines and was told not to keep one loaded for more than a couple of months.. that it messes up the spring somehow so i was going to switch them out.
i have a 9 with an extension, 9 without and a 12 without
dang. its so hard to get the bullets in this gun too. i have a reloader thing (havent googled the proper name for that) and its still hard to do. does it ever get easier? never had that problem with my .380

The magazines for the 27 are pretty stiff. I've had mine for about a year and cycled over 1,000 rounds through it with the same magazine. It's still pretty stiff.

And we're off....
That's BS, BTW.

You should have a little plastic deal that makes it easier to get the last few rounds into the mag. One came with my Beretta; I don't know about Glocks.

No, it doesn't get easier. If it does, throw the mag away.

so... its ok to leave a magazine loaded for a year?
when i go to the range i use the other 2 mags and leave this one loaded with hollow points in the bag. so... its been loaded for about a year since i took them out and put them back in

Yes, you can leave a mag loaded. The only things that would imped proper function would be corrosion or bent mag lips ( the top of the mag where the cartridges slide out).

If you are worried about spring failing, use the two mags as you do now. When you get back home ( after cleaning the weapon ) , transfer the hollow points to one of the mags you just shot and fill that one with whatever rounds you use for practice.

A year's fine. A year old loaded mag will kill an SOB graveyard dead just like a new one will. Rotate 'em out and all is well.
