• Jan. 9, 2010 - NFC Wild Card - Dallas 34, Philadelphia 14
• Jan. 13, 2008 - NFC Divisional - N.Y. Giants 21, Dallas 17
• Jan. 6, 2007 - NFC Wild Card - Seattle 21, Dallas 20

Two playoff wins in twelve years. Granted, they have had some good seasons in those years but choked when it counted.

Neither can I. When I say good, meaning competitive. I can understand saying you gave up on a team if you were a Cleveland or Detroit fan.

I didn't grow up with football like you guys did. I used to watch the Cowboys with my uncles. I guess I lost interest when they did and didn't pick it back up.
To me football is just a game, not my life. I do like the parties.

I really only root for 2 teams now: Arizona, and whoever's playing Dallas!

I agree, I am not a die hard football fan (other than the Razorbacks) but I have been a Steelers (fair weather) fan since I was a wee lad. I don't watch much pro sports at all. I might catch an NFL game once or twice during the season but if the Steelers werent playing in the Super Bowl - I probably wouldn't have even watched.

My mother went to school with Jerry Jones, and he is an Arkansas product but I am in no shape, form, or fashion a Cowboys fan.

Exclamation

I'm surprised no-one has posted in here or started a new thread about the SB.

I'm not a football expert, not an analyst or sport guru but, this is what I saw.

Rothlisberger threw away the game. Looked like he had an anchor around his body, loved to freeze in place.

For all the mistakes made by the Steelers, the Packers should had score 40+ points.

The halftime show was the worst I've seen.

The Doritos commercial with the fish, plant and grandpa coming back alive was the one I liked the most. Darth Vader Jr. was pretty good.

Roth just showed his true colors. Not a very good QB. Pitt showed life in their running game and then abandoned it with plenty of time left. Put it in the arm of Roth and there ya go. Pitt's defense is tough, but when Palo guessed wrong on which way that pass was going in the endzone in the 4th, that about put the nail in the coffin.

Commercials were the worst I've ever seen. Half time show was terrible. The game itself was good and ended the best you can hope for to remain competitive: the losing team has the ball at the end with a chance to win the game.

My BIL and I were watching the half time show laughing our asses off. We were thinking about how there must have been a few thousand Texas rednecks saying , WTF is this and checking themselves for a pistol or something to shoot those Black Eyed Peas mofos
Now really, with all of the great bands in the US, someone thought this was a good idea????........................IN TEXAS!!
Good game though!!

The game came down to two players.

Rothlis what's his name, and Rodgers.

Rodgers won!

That halftime show was bad. I never could find any resemblance of a song, and when they mentioned obama I went out for a smoke.

But to the young crowd I'm sure it was entertaining.

After Janets boob 'fell' out, the NFL felt it was necessary to embarrass most baby boomers and dig up fossils to entertain us. At least they're back in this Milenium with halftime entertainment.

I was hoping somebody would pants Fergy...to one up Janet
