Default New puppy is coming!
We have been waiting on a new litter in Canada (sire and dam are from Germany) to get old enough to evaluate. The breeder says he has a male that fits our criteria and he will bring it down end of May. He will be 10 weeks old.

Now we need a name. Top contenders are:

Talon
Falcon
Sargent

Any other bad ass names?

Me too. I hope to get a photo next week. I think I have photos of the sire and dam. Need to get out of town today but will try to post later.

I have high hopes for this dog. He will receive a ton of formal training. Need to decide what job he is best suited for. We should know by the time he is a year old or so. Might do search and rescue with him. Much depends on his drive and inclinations.

The first year will be obedience and socialization. Then, whatever specialized training that fits him. I'm hoping for a dog I can take anywhere with me including business meetings.

I'm a fan of letting a pet's personality dictate what its name is vs pre picking a name. All of our pets typically are nameless for a good week or so after we first get them..
