Default Butterface. Problem solved.

We have a butter thief on our hands. He jumped up on the counter today and sucked down an entire stick this morning.

I gave him 15cc's of 3% hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting since we caught him in the act. This way I avoided the potential for explosive diarrhea. There's a small chance that that much butter could cause pancreatitus - but, mostly they just get sick.

Now, I've set up a training device we've used for years to teach puppies to stay off the table, counter, trash, etc.

The traps just scare them. I've never had a pup get caught in one.

Works like a charm.

I'm gonna have to try that with Dale. He like getting food off the counter and raiding the trash.

Thanks for the tip and hope it continues to work on your doggie.

Cayenne pepper. Cause you just can't live with a table full of mousetraps forever.

Don't leave the butter on the table.
We had a cat with a butter problem, we now put it in the cupboard with the dishes.
