Default Neighborhood Party Tonight : Is This Appropriate ?
My wife is bringing Italian meatballs, which are heavenly, and I was wondering........Since some of these guys don't drink....Would it be appropriate if I brought this thing, full of Bacardi ?...My daughter bought it in London, at the Tower Of London...The guys are all cool, and the dude who is having the party is a Nam vet, and has a 15'x20' gun room safe in the basement, but the wives are hoity toidy, including mine......I will need alcohol, and can't take the chance of not having good rum there....What says the barn folk ?

Absolutely! If you need to be discreet then so be it but that is exactly what God made them for. I took mine to a Southern Baptist wedding/reception last year. No alcohol served at the reception but I was happy.

When I went to my friend's wedding she told me ahead of time that the bar was not free so I should bring a flask. It is good to know these things ahead of time.
