Could there be any bigger bunch of snobs than wine drinkers? Just ask a beginning scotch drinker.

I never trust them to hold a full beer. The trick is to chug it down and have them hold your empty. Tip from a pro.

I try my best not to hate on Macallan (because let's be fair, it IS good), but there are SOOOOOOOOOOO many better bottles for the price of Macallan 18. I don't mean 5-10. I mean 25+. I'm serious.

Macallan 18 is good. Macallan 25 is WAY WAY better (and getting harder to find. I paid 1800 for mine, I may have to pay 2200+ tax for one now). Price of Mac 18 is irrelevant to me. 25 makes you think for a second, but 18 is like a case of beer to the budget. Last thing I want to do is buy something else in that price range and not like it. I know I like Macallan.

The super affordable one that I love is the Glenmorangie 18 that Scott introduced me to.

Have you had the Glenmorangie Signet? My grocery store has the Macallan 25 for $2499 and I am a little hard up, so am considering snagging the 18 or the Glenmorangie Signet.

I'll tell you what, it is strange walking into a grocery store and seeing several aisles of booze.

I can get it for 2,200 in South Sarasota. Thinking about running up next weekend.

My current collection consists of
Glenfarclas 21, Springbank 12 CS, Hazelburn 13 Oloroso, Talisker 10, Talisker 18, Glendronach 18 Allardice, Balblair 12, and Bladnoch 10.

Also, sitting on a full bottle of Midleton (yes, one D...not a typo) Very Rare (Irish, from Jameson) from 2011, which was the year I got married, for something special.

It’ll take me a LONNNNNNNG time to go through those bottles, as I usually have one dram when I have anything. Not planning on buy for a while.
