All of the above is a result of Godless, chitty parenting. Had I ever gotten in trouble in school, the punishment would continue when I got home. On the RARE occasion that I did nothing wrong, my parents would support me, but rest assured I would gas an aZZ whooping had I been even slightly disrespectful.

Our society feels lit is unacceptable to spank, make a child feel uncomfortable or let a child experience struggle of any kind.I think We all know what that has resulted in.

All that being said, I think parents should advocate for their kids and if something is done that is inappropriate, they should feel comfortable enough to discuss that with their parents.

My friend raised her family, then went back to college to be a teacher.
She came home crying ..... a lot.
She was assigned by the school board to work at a school off of Martin Luther King Rd.
Other teachers ratted her out, parent cursed her, kids cursed her, threats, no support from other school staff, principle, or asst. Principle....her only ally was school resource officer.
She taught 2nd grade.
She lasted 4 years....2 at one school 2 at one school, 2 at the other.


Like Candy was eluding to; learning starts at home.
Schools/teachers are not baby sitters.
These kids are not learning morals, values, respect, courtesy, manners, etc...

A school that as a whole, is well behaved, doesn't have to worry about having a perv as a teacher. (to an extent)
Better teachers will stay, students act better, faculty has brains,
parents (plural) are involved at a well behaved school.
Students want to be there, teachers want to be there, sans an occasional rogue.

Off to stain/paint our fence. I dread this project. At points our fence is 12 foot high and runs the length of our 1.5 acres on 2 sides..... back later if I have the energy to type.
