I haven't read the books so I'm not sure how closely it follows them, but I didn't see that happening. Looking forward to next week.

A couple of people I work with have read or are currently reading them and say they leave out tons of details. Last night's show was awesome and I like the fact that no one is safe!

I read the first one, most of the second, and about half the 3rd. For the most part, the important stuff is in the show, the parts that need to be to get the gest of what's going on. Each book is 7-800 pages, no way can you put all of that into film!

Just watched last night's episode off the DVR. Only 1/2 way through book 2, so each week is a surprise for me.

LOL

I'm glad my wife was watching it with me. Her reactions and agony made it all the more awesome.

Hell, I kept predicting [redacted] was going down, but man oh man it was so well done and brutal that I was still blown away.

Now I'm probably going to end up finishing the second half of book 2 in one sitting tomorrow so I can get to book 3 ASAP. Can't wait to relive the magic.

I am not even half way into book 2 so what happened last night was really unexpected. My wife was in shock also. Later she just looked at me and said " So when is someone going to kill that damn Jeffrey"

If/when King Joffrey dies, I will be as mad as all the people crying over stupid boring-ass [redacted] biting the dust last night.

Only thing keeping last night's episode from scoring a 10/10 on the Will meter was John Snow's continued survival in spite of his true to family form stupidity. That and the inexcusable lack of Theon torture porn.
