Is that what I read yesterday?
I always widen the slots in the struts a tad in case extra adjustment is needed. Only takes a couple mintues, i make sure they move fairly freely as to make alignment nice and easy also before tighten everything up. I had a strut years ago the slot was off and damn thing wouldn't adjust. Only talking 1/4 inch each way maybe a bit more.

Another cheese is to:
  • loosen the cradle and associated mounting points
  • install a strut tower spreader bar (like the ricers use)
  • spread
  • re-tighten cradle and associated mounting points.

Can be good for 1/4 to 1/2 pos.

Already have a stocker support bar, a couple models/years of caddy didn't have one and towers would bend in on these pigs. 4800 lbs with 2/3 of that easy over frt wheels.
