Default New Headset...uber cool.

So yesterday, Saturday, after a 14 hour work day starting at 3:30 am, I was in bed early after working on this project. Emergency meeting called on the project for 8:30 pm. So through yesterday, I'm now at 80.5 hours for the week, not counting today, and I've been working non-stop since 6:00 am.

Needless to say, when I was woken up from a dream and called to this "emergency" meeting, I was ballistic. My old headset met it's maker...and my office door.

So splurged on a new set today. Thought I'd try something a little high end. Holy hell these things are incredible. Extreme comfort, perfect mic reception, and incredible sound.

I've been running wireless X series Beachs for years (did the wired back in the day).
They are excellent for racing/gaming, and especially streaming movies.

Only bad thing I've ever noticed with them is (like all other electronics), the new models are $300. clams, and same model will be $69.99 two years later.

Forgot to add; they can also be plugged into iPhones to listen to music.

I bought these last year. They work great. Did you do a comparison? I'm curious if so, how what you bought might compare to these.

Because yer a good guy I will explain.

Headphones do plug into the controller for gaming, or iPhone.

The wireless is meaning there is no wire from controller to console.
If streaming Netflix/movies via console or smart TV = no wires at all, not even to the controller.

Lemme know if I confused you even more.

Just checked the site again. The Elite Pro is what Craig claims to have, and appears to be wired. The Elite 800X, and Elite 800 is wireless. If the MIL ever moves in like she threatens to, I'll have to consider the Elite 800 headset for her.

It's just more damage when you throw this set against the door.
