i live less than 5 minutes from this mall and pass it daily. I'm surprised that nobody I know has mentioned this shooting at all this weekend?

And yes, the mall is one of those weird areas in this part of town that is pretty much a spot for the minority "yutes" to hang out.

Gene, 103rd street and Collins Road are no longer barriers to keep the westside of Jax from encroaching. I've noticed a lot of people starting to GTFO and do some of that white flight again.

Ah yes white flight. After living in Albany NY from birth till I turned 24 I left that shithole! Moved to a big burb outside the city and all was well for quite a while. Then the migration from Albany started and things got "more Interesting"

Sold my property and moved out to my lake property which is about 60 miles and many back roads from Albany. To be honest for the most part year around residents are decent and many are what some people call Red Necks.

My large town has a year around population of about a 1,000 people and I seriously doubt we have a black living within a 20 mile radius from my house. We definitely do not have racial problems. We also do not have intersections with traffic lights for about 20 miles in any direction, stop signs where needed. A lot to be said about rural living!

Been 6-8 months since I even drove through the mall property......bought a pair of shoes I don't like.....

The only store worth a shit there was Sears.....so they shut it down of course....

I go to Home Despot maybe once a month, spent 2 bux there the other day.....been friends with Chris and Tony at the pro desk for some 24 years ...

Going to move the vette this AM, for the first time in over two MONTHS, due to weather and my arthrongus/skeleton issues, I finally down to adding coolent/antifreeze and water to engine, and firing it up in the driveway.....

Nah.... even at the Jacksonville Fair that happens in Noverber-ish, it's not the carnies. It's always the feral animals.

Hell, we don't take bets on if shit goes down during that event. We take bets on how many times it goes down and what the actual crime was.

You actually went to the Mall? You can't walk down the main walkways without having to go around 4-5 feral animals walking shoulder to shoulder blocking the passage way and dancing around with no care in the world about who they hit or run into.... and it's illegal to smack the living shit out of them to provide a dose of common sense. And check this out, it's not just teenagers.

That chick-fil-a is actually very clean and always busy. Every time I drive by there is a line a mile long with several employees taking orders...and it's not because of lack of staff.
