Thoughts ands prayers. Hotels look packed here. Just passed the theatre here and their huge parking lot is full of power company trucks as well as the hotel next door.

150 MPH Sustained Winds at landfall. Golden Meadow is going to be destroyed. Grand Isle Beach is toast. Port Fourchon, currently shown in the eye, was landfall. Fortunately, I don't think these areas are heavily populated, but regardless, they will be gone for the most part. 150+ and you're screwed. That's SUSTAINED winds. Gusts may get to 175-180.

Watching the radar loop on accuweather.com, the storm made a hard left once it made landfall. Like to the point it "might" go back in the Gulf, and strengthen, and make a 2nd landfall?
