The phone rang the other day from an out of state area code. I angrily answered, “what the **** do you want”. I was greeted with what sounded like a startled young girl who just asked if I wanted to renew a magazine subscription.

It annoys me when the waitress asks if the food tastes good VS is everything OK.
It makes me think she spit in it if she asks, “does it taste good.”

As they regained consciousness I would have cut their Achilles tendon, so they could not run away and then I wanted to slowly push a dull butter knife into their heart as I stare into their eyes and watch them slowly fade away.

This happened to me at the Lowes Hardware a while back, in the return section. Two clerks working, I'm standing on the store side behind another customer. The clerk on the street side just finished when a guy walked in off the street and grabbed that spot. I yelled over loudly: "Sir, there's a line here." I had to yell twice because the line jumper pretended that he didn't hear me.

I was at a Lowe's last week; no cashiers, self-check only. I've never done it anywhere before so was unsure about it. I almost left the item I had right there and walked out. It was just an accordion door, not something I had to have.

An employee was standing there, a 25-something, ugly, overweight, redheaded **** with a cleft lip and an attitude.

I asked her for help. She never once smiled, nor made eye contact, and barely talked.

I almost went to the office to complain about having such a miserable, ugly, male-hating bitch working with the public.

A few days later, my buddy told me he's dealt with her also. He said she has severe mental problems (aside from just being a hate-filled Gen Z-er).

So they had to hire her, and probably cannot fire her. Wonderful. Just like the black asshole salesman at a Toyota dealer that I walked out on two years ago.

Oh well, things are going to get much worse and we will look back on this as a "First World Problem."
