One July 5th, I found a dog wandering in our cul-de-sac. He had nothing but a rabies tag on his collar, from an out of state vet. We called the vet, gave them the identifying number and our phone number, and a few minutes later, we got a call from the owners, who were visiting folks in the subdivision across a major road from our subdivision. Fireworks spooked the dog and he took off, apparently.

Folks, keep your pets inside this evening. Yesterday, we had quite a bit of lightning, power blips.....some was quite close, and I noticed even normally aloof Fuzball wanted to sit right next to me. She was scared.

Fireworks do not faze my dogs. Neither do thunderstorms, lightning, loud music, loud noises, etc.
