That old store was built in the 1890's...Stepping in it is like stepping back in time, it still has a wood burning stove in the middle, tongue and groove flooring and ceiling....If I ever win the lottery I'm buying it just 'cause it's perfect.

They still make the best coldcut sandwiches too....lunch meat made locally- like 12 miles away- and piled high with lettuce, tomatoes, onions...they'd make Dagwood Bumstead hurt himself.

Love the pix, Bobby! I remember old stores like that. Brings sweet memories back that soothes the soul.

Place sure has been quiet for a whole week..I've been gone on a drive.

I finally awoke my '84 for a drive over the Cascade range to eastern Washington. It ran just fine.

Except that a couple of the discodash instrument lights(the main ones that light up the back light), have frizzled out. (see what I did there? Friz..)

Except that my passenger side valve cover has started leaking ...

I looked thru all the dashlight bulb (which ones are best to use as replacement), threads. Never could find a consensus for the '84 and '85 dashes though. Most were all about '86 and later. Anyone know?
Duke, have you changed out any of your sweet red's dash bulbs?

I've changed the bulbs in the info center, but not behind the main cluster. I just used the standard GE bulbs from pep boys. $7 each I think, it was a few years ago.

Good to see you back, I was close to writing and seeing if you were sick(er than the rest of us)
