nOOb requests advice from experienced Corvette owners
Last November I purchased my 1st Corvette, a 1995 standard coupe. It already had a GForce Performance chip installed when I bought it. What are the thoughts of experienced Vette owners? My first thought is to remove it and revert back to the way the engine was originally. Do you think I should leave it on and test the mileage for a couple thousand miles, then remove it and test it again without? I don't know of any place close by where I could put it on a dyno machine. The previous owner claimed that it gave him better mileage and performance but I am skeptical.

I'm pretty skeptical too.

I disconnected it today and took it out. Then later in the day I found this link on a thread in the "Off Topic" section of the Barn. So I think you were right.
