interior light gremlin

On my 94 coupe the interior and cargo lights some time stay on when they should go out. They will go on and off like their suppose to for one day to three weeks then they will stay on. The bad thing is that the cargo lights circuit also has the radio on it. No cargo lights-no radio and I don't sing all that well. I have to pull the fuse for the cargo lights. I and pops 98 replaced a sensor under the dash on the passenger side. Anybody else ever had this happen?

Sounds like the pin switch in the hatch is mucked up. It could be a simple alignment problem or it's busted inside. When they stay on, can you manually push the pin switch down to turn the lights off?
