Looks like the ladder turned into a ski for a ways.

I had a guy tail gating me one time on the highway and a very similar situation happened. I straddled the ladder after scrubbing off 15mph because I couldn’t change lanes, and dumbass behind me in their Hyundai or like sized passenger car couldn’t stop fast enough before their cars front end ate the ladder on the road. If I’m being honest, I just couldn’t feel bad for the person.

When they tailgate me,and I am usually in the middle lane and doing 5 mph above speed limit I will turn on the windshield washer a few times, they will usually fade back and put wipers on....if they have a clean car they will also be pissed

I had "ricer boy" right on my ass as I was headed home in my 4WD Suburban a few years back. They were installing new sewer lines on Rt 29 and the bumps were probably 4" high and only "slightly bone" jarring at 30 mph.

I baited ricerboy by taking off fast from the light and got him up to about 50 mph. He saw the Suburban bounce off the bump and slammed on his brakes.

Bad move That brought the front of his down even more and I saw his fiberglass front panel splinter across the road.

For some reason he wasn't behind me when I turned off Rt 29 about a half mile later
