Default Anyone interested in some measuring tools?

I've been in the field of calibration for over 40 years, and I've accumulated measuring tools over the years. I was looking in my tool chest and I was like, "what the hell am I ever going to use these". So I thought that I would see if there was any interest here before I try to sell them elsewhere. I know there are either 1 or 2 of you here that do machining work.

I'd like to sell them altogether as a bundled deal - $200 + shipping. If you think that these are expensive, check out the prices at Amazon for example. The Blade Mic alone goes for over $600. Almost all of the tools are a 8 or 9 out of 10 for appearance (i.e. some may have minor scratches etc. but does not impact the measurement). I checked them all this morning with jo blocks to verify that they work and measure correctly except for the inside mic and Digimatic Indicator. All these tools take a button size battery - A76.

Here are the descriptions:

Mitutoyo Blade Micrometer 422-341-10

Mitutoyo Caliper 500-196-20

Mitutoyo Inside Micrometer 145-193

Mitutoyo Micrometer 293-765-10

Mitutoyo Thickness Gage 547-400 (I have 2 of these)

Mitutoyo Thickness Gage N7300

Mitutoyo Digimatic Indicator 543-276B

That's close enough to make wood fit if you have a big enough hammer.

Let me look around at my stuff as I may have others to sell. They may not be in predestine conditions (i.e. they have numbers engraved etc.) but work just the same.

Yes, I've been in this field for a long time. I started back in 1975. I will probably be retiring next year a bit early - 64 yrs, as it's getting harder to put up with the BS at work. Metrology (science of measurement) has been fun while it lasted. Not sure what the company is going to do when I retire, but that is not my problem.

Going back to topic, I'll see what other items I have and post a new thread if I have other items.

We sound about the same age. I made my first tool (very ugly!) in trade school in 1970, and have never been away from the trade.

I have a little slipstick looking metal in/out measuring tool, steel about 4" long....my father used it when working for Glen Martin aircraft in Cleveland Ohio about 100 years ago....

I wish I had a nice caliper. Used to have one, it grew legs. Not sure what I'd use it for now but I wish I still had it.
