MY SIDE has already comprimised. How exactly do you think we ended up with current gun legislation, background checks, concealed carry laws, asinine laws in various states, etc. You liberals seem to think that somehow you reset the zero on a regular basis. That's not how it works.

What exactly is "your side" comprimising with the so-called plans that you listed? You aren't comprimising a damn thing. You are calling for more rules. Period. More rules equals my side giving and your side taking.


The only thing that any of your (hilarious) ideas would do is drive costs through the roof. Not a single 1 of them would do anything except take money from the people who actually follow the law.

47% of households reportedly have at least 1 gun in their household. You really want to give mandatory psychological exams to almost 150 million people?? Afterall, if it is in the household, in theory, every person in that household has access to it. Laser engraved bullets? Registered ammo?

I thought what I presented was a realistic compromise. In fact, I still do. It seems the only retort is that criminals ignore the law so there would be no net decrease in gun violence. I disagree with this position.

What conservatives and gun rights advocates fail to realize is that the public is getting fed up with the status quo. When your guys are in power, nothing is done to address these kinds of problems. Then when my guys get in power and enact legislation, all the sudden your side is full of ideas about how you could do it better without so many rules. Just like what happened with the health care bill.

The writing is on the wall. If your side is unwilling to compromise and doesn't do something to address the problem, don't be surprised when the public has had enough and votes in politicians who will do something about it.

Why do you expect ANYONE to comprise on a Right as defined in the Constitution? Why is it needed to compromise? Maybe we can change the agreement of the first Amendment so that anyone advocating more government be banded from speaking out. Let's come to a fair compromise and just prevent anyone for do so on National TV. Come on Compromise.

Your proposal was so full of holes it was just plain silly.

If you really want to lower the crime rate, As stated by myself and many others, end welfare. It is the Proven root cause of higher crime. Yet you refuse to compromise on that.

I do find it "interesting" that the left screams from the hilltops that a health plan that does not pay for contraception is taking away a woman's rights, and that's not negotiable.

I don't think it would ever get to this but if a full scale SHTF type of uprising happened, the libtards that actually are armed would be for the vast majority locked in the inner cities. They can have it.

I can guaran-damn-tee that they don't want to venture too far outside of that area. I haven't seen too many gang bangers with the weapons or the skills to shoot something more than a few feet away. On the other hand I know a lot of people on the pro gun side of that argument that would have no problem from a LONG way out.

We shot a bunch of various rounds at "expired" body armor, wood blocks, and various thickness steel plates to see what actually happened.

Of course the 5.56 green tips go straight through but the one that amazed me was the 50s MILSURP 150gr. .30-06 ball rounds. Those sumbitches have some ass behind them.

The MilStd -06 stuff makes my shoulder ache after a while. My hunting rounds are not as harsh.
