bit of sad news just came across the wire. a long time gun club member (didn't know him personally) passed away. he was 54 (same age as me).

redeem the time, waste not a moment, you never know when your soul will be required by God.

more reason to keep bringing in new, younger members, lest the club just die with the last one standing.

I left at 10 am and was back here by 2pm. Three stops in NY. Walmart, post office, and My USA address. Cool place that will hold parcels for Canucks for up to a year for 6 bucks.

Here at home we're paying about 2 bucks/dozen and that's CDN.

At the Walmart in Ogdensburg they were .47 cents!......I asked a lady that was shopping if that was per egg or a dozen and she said it was a dozen.

I brought home 3 dozen......going to make some deviled eggs.

Good Morning everyone! .....didn't sleep a wink last night, darn gout kept me awake and in pain. I ran out of the meds that work yesterday so that's my mission today. The other meds I'm on give me a chronic gout condition. Damned if you don't and damned if you do.....

Really cool out there this morning.....frost warnings! YUCK!

Time to get some fall chores done before the uggggghhh white stuff starts flying.
