Is there a way to block new threads?

I've already got an annoying poster blocked, and I can't see their posts inside of a thread, but this clown litters the top page with a shit ton of useless threads. If I can block them out too, that'd be great.

Christ, I'd make Rob wealthy if that were possible. I know we are one big family, and don't ban people, but there is a point when the pollution hurts the forum. Again, if a feature on the site allows everyone who chooses to ignore these ignoramus's existed, that would solve it, without banning them.

Back when General Mayhem (genmay.com) was the Top3 off topic forum on the entire internet you could ban somebody for x amount of days or give them a custom title by making a donation. However this was way before the word 'social media' even existed and that forum was so active that a thread started was already on the 2nd page within 15 minutes.

So you have blocked UniqueDoug. Good for you, that's a start. Does your new thread view of fresh threads include threads created by him? Odds are...yes. Hence the impetus for this thread. And yes, he's one of the clowns who I'd prefer to never see a post from....there are a few more.
