Default Weyerbacher IPA
Sitting at an airport pub for a burger and brew on my way to Atlanta.
This is a damn fine IPA. It's a local brew yet I've never had one until now.

Been on an IPA kick for the last couple years. What else should I keep an eye out for?

The best balanced IPA's are from Dogfish Head. They make a 60 min,90 min, and 120 min. They are now bottling my favorite, 75 minute-A combination of the 60 and 90. My winter favorite is Accumulation from New Belgium. It's a white IPA. Very refreshing.

those are all great ones. My favorite of those is the 90 minute. If you are going to try the 120, find a friend to split a 12oz bottle because it is a slow drinking beer.

Some others to check out are

Reliable and consistent - Pale Ale | www.sierranevada.com

Uinta Dubhe Imperial Black IPA (one of my favorites)

Russian River Pliny the Elder (hard to find but dang good)

Three Floyds Alpha King ( fantabulous )

I've been on an ipa kick as well, when ur visiting Tx try karbach Rodeo Clown, it's a double ipa....pretty strong so be careful if you're driving.

I cannot recall the Brewery right now, and it is not an IPA but the most remarkable ale I have had of late is called "Ode To Winter". I believe it is a Georgia product. It is dark, bold, complex and absolutely delicious. If you happen on it, get some.

Also Hopsecuitioner from Terrapin! From nearby Athens. I think it's even better that the Sweetwater IPA but both are good.
