Best Place To Buy An Optima Battery?

I need one in the next few days. The battery in the Bee is dead and I'm gonna take it to get a small oil leak repaired.

Any brick and mortar places you folks recommend me going to?

Batteries Plus stocks them. (If you have one near you)

Way back when I bought my red top, they were about the cheapest source I found.

If you find them somewhere for a lower price, Autozone will match it. At least Terry did for me when I bought mine 3 years ago.

Thank you all. It seems that the dumbass owner of the vehicle neglected to turn his lights off after the last safari he went on. It seems that said dumbass needs automatic headlamps so that he doesn't have to THINK about how much of a dumbass he really is.........

And unfortunately, Optimas don't take kindly to being completely drained.

Mine gave me about 5 years of problem-free use, but after having a kid sit in the car one day, inevitably playing with all the switches and buttons, the little sh!t also turned the interior lights on, and since I drove and parked the car that day with the top off, I never noticed they were on. Next day, completely dead.

I was able to bring the battery back to life (or so I thought), but it never held a charge for very long after that. If I didn't keep it on a tender, I'd have to run the car at least once a week, or it wouldn't start the car.

So you may still be in the market for a replacement.
