I think that’s exactly right…it’s just virtue signaling. They suspend to do a “study” but with no intention to do anything further. I think the executions will eventually resume and the suspension will be lifted. They’ll publish some convoluted analysis that will cost the tax payers millions of dollars, though.

the area behind this place is mostly orchards and a couple dairies called Wood Colony. Day before yesterday we were heading to dinner through there and there was a boatload of activity at one of the 4 way stop intersections, LEO and news crews etc. Turns out a bad guy busted in a back door of a farmers house, who is retired LEO, he shot and killed bad guy where he stood in the house. Drove by there today, he was out on his kaboto tractor doing farm stuff. A little sliver of common sense here in this BS state
