The bad thing about the vinyl is there is no place for wind to pass thru. Here in Florida, this not good as it doesn't take much to put them on the ground. Weedeaters don't play well with them either.

Since cost seems to be a big issue, I recommend naked sunbathing.
Your neighbors will build fences (high ones) at no cost to you.

Nope! I was scared shitless the first time I pumped up the sprayer with petroleum asphalt sealer and gasoline it in, but nothing happened. I sure does dry fast when you spray it.... If there's the slightest breeze, cleaning any exposed skin is a real challenge.

I used 4 x 4 PTP posts for the fence and 4" x 6" posts at the gates. The rails are 5/4" x 16' prime PTP pine ("prime" because thaere are no knots to fall out,and they don't warp as much). 3-rail fence is about 60" high.

Now here's what makes if different from an ordinary pine fence: The fence is black. "Painting" it is simple, althogh messy. Buy 5-gal. drums of Gardner petroleum (not water based) asphalt driveway sealer, thin it 25% with gasoline, and spray the fence with a good-quality garden sprayer. Ace Hardware sells a good petroleum-based sealer, too. You will throw away the sprayer after you're finished, but you need a good one.

How to paint: After the fence has dried for a few weeks, pick a calm day (no wind). Mix the sealer and gasoline, pour it into the sprayer, and start spraying. Spray one side of the posts and one side of each fence rail; spray only an 8' section. Then give it a second coat. Do not paint the underside edge of the rails; the wood needs to breathe. The sealer does just that to the wood: It beads water. Repeat on the other side after you've done a long section.

The sealer will stay black for 8-10 years. Asphalt sealer is cheap, so it's not a huge expense. I forget how many feet of fence you can paint with 5 gals., but it's considerable.

This fence, and the sealer, is exactly what is used in Virginia horse country, and it's very sophisticated looking. I don't like white vinyl fencing because it looks like what it is: Plastic. You can get it in baby-shit brown, but not black because it fades quickly. My fence does not.

It's dark here, so I can't take pics. If you're interested I'll post some.

Considering your track record with power tools I am rather surprised that self immolation wasn't a result!

Go to the local public schools and offer them a field trip to your place.
Have the kids glue popsicle sticks together to make fence.
Kick them out.
Have a nap.

What you didn't know is my total record of projects completed vs. injuries. I completed a mile+ of fence with no injuries, and that included removing the old fence, trees, and brush. And I remodeled my entire house by taking it down to the bare studs with only 2 injuries: A piece of wood (not just a splinter) through my finger, and a power nailer nail through a finger. And I fell of the house roof only once--nanna-nanna-boo-boo!

Western red cedar stringers and pickets attached to pipe posts. Lots of guys around here put it in.
Throw some protective stain on it and it'll look great for years. Might need to hit it again in 10 years.

Vinyl in these parts does tend to warp in the heat of Summer.

Thanks Buckster (and all with suggestions). I think that's the route I'm gonna take. Will be nice to save a few pesos.

That could be an option but considering the way they always mow over the line it's undoubtedly going to cost something to force them into paying for a survey.

Default Other concrete fence options

Referring to the fence question, another source for molds for concrete fencing is Greentec Construction Technologies (https://greentecct.com/).

But according to your website you do not sell anything to anyone inside the US....

We only sell molds and equipment to markets that are outside of the USA and its territories. That is, neither your billing nor shipping address can be in the USA or its territories. We can arrange shipping to your location just about anywhere in the world.
Kinda limits your audience here

True, but it's still an excellent first post. While it may be somewhat lacking in usefulness, you've got to give credit for the timeliness of the reply. Well done, and welcome to The Barn.

Hardi ....

Our 'hood has the hardiplank and it looks like shit after a few short years. They recently just replaced it all with the cedar planks. Looks so much better.

Stacked Beer Cans are an option. Use the tall boys though, the 12oz cans don't have enough girth. I didn't have any proper glue, so I used Ceramic Tile Mastic and filled the holes with drywall mud. My dad said it looked like shit and 'rednecky' but I told him to **** off. Sometimes when it rains, the drywall mud falls off, so I wad up notebook paper and squirt it with Elmers Glue to fill the holes, seems to be holding ok. I polish it with Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax. Cans are a mixture of Coors, Bud, and Tecate. I think it looks great.
