Car looks good Garf! Interior is still looking good, how many miles on that?

I had the '70 out and about town the last 2 days myself. She is really dirty, so if a bunch of you old ****ers would get together and thoroughly clean my car for me, that would be great!

Garf, I like C4s.

My first Vette was a '96 that I bought used in February '97. It was a Arctic White coupe with red interior. It had 1800 miles on it when I bought it. It was my daily driver for eight years. I put 106,000 on it. It was a great Vette. I wish I still had it. But I sold it to buy an '02 Z06.

Pre covid crap, my daily drive was about 3 miles round trip to a train station then another hunnit for work back and forth. She sits idle too much. Very few WOT runs. Something might break.

Want to buy? Ha. She is not for sell. Sry.

Nice. How long have you had it?

I've had this one for almost 13 years, and have only added about 6,500 miles to the odo. I need to get it out and drive it more!

Owned for 9 years. Did math. ~2300 miles a year. Thought it would be 6.

I have you beat on # of miles 175K on my red ‘94, had 48K at purchase in Dec 2003. Black ‘89 has 80K miles. Not just commuting miles and cruising miles, but also road course track and drag strip miles.

Both have lived under covers most of their lives, although new house/garage allowed for the red ‘94 to live indoors since 2015.

Cars are meant to be driven

2300 per year is solid IMO. When I bought the car, I expected to go a thousand or more per year, but I guess life and teenagers got in the way of that! If I drive it 500 miles this year, that will be more miles than the last 3 years put together! Of course, it was laid up for more than a year during that time.
