Justice is not convicting a man prior to any charges being filed or a trial taking place. Let the police and DA get their shit straight and file charges if they have the evidence to back it up. Right now, it looks like the evidence is pointing in favor of Zimmerman or he would already be behind bars waiting for a trial.

Look up Castle Doctrine in FL. You'll see that deadly force is justifiable when a person feels there's a grave threat of bodily harm or death (and it's not really defined). If the facts of this case stand the way they are now, Zimmerman will not even be brought up on charges for defending himself even though the media, NBPs, and racists like Sharpton and Jackson have already convicted him.

I never said "good for Zimmerman". I have no idea what happened on that night. So far it seems to be that his story holds up. If that changes and he is guilty, he should be punished to the full extent of the law.

Unlike you, I am not making that judgement until all the facts are in.

Thomas, I have no problem whatsoever with your (or anyone else's) choice to not arm themselves. Seriously. I really don't.

My posts were merely to point out the fact that in the incredibly unlikely event that you would ever need a firearm to protect yourself, having it would be a world of difference between what could happen if you didn't.

So long as someone who chooses not to carry a firearm never tries to prevent me or anyone else from being able to exercise our 2nd Amendment rights, I welcome you to make your own decisions about what to do yourself.

Agreed. But you'll never convince me the general population NEEDS to carry a firearm in their day to day life. If some punk were to pull a gun on me and decides he want's my watch, or my Cadillac, I'm giving it to him. Simple as that. It's just stuff.

Furthermore, as I stated in an earlier post, shooting a paper target in Saturday afternoon is a long way from shooting a human being in a dark alley on Saturday night.

Let me go on record AGAIN for the morons who will most surely take me to task over my PERSONAL thought's on guns: I fully support the 2nd Amendment. But you can't argue backwards.
