Default Looking for a great detailer

I am looking for a great detailer in the local area that I can take my car to for a full detail. If you can recommend someone please let me know. I would also like to find someone that can polish and keep my CCW's looking purdy.

Shine-Car-Shine off of Lynnhaven Parkway will do a pretty nice job on your detailing, but a few of my buddies paid $300.00 to have it done.

That's way out of my price range.

Damn! I'm not charging enough - I charge $110 for an 8-9 hour detail, $140 for 10-11, and $170 for 12-13.

Yeah, I know an awesome detail job is in the few hundred range but my car really needs it. I may stop by there and see what they can do for me.

Haha, yep. I should send Ed the bill since its his dirt on the car. I have actually had the car back for a few weeks now so I think all the shop dust has blown off. It still needs a really good polish though.

you are correct, the 110 dollar jobs I see around here look like a drive thru car wash job....

I try to keep to a package price of 150-300 depending on what im doing, and 45 per hour for correction.

I've heard good things about Dreamworks but I have had no personal experience.

You are not, thats $14/ hour broken down, way to cheap for a Professional job done rite. $45/hr for paint correction is about right, if not a little more , all depends on the amount of work and how many steps is needed.

If you want your Black vette to look like this.

Your looking at least $350, thats Claybar through 4 step polishing with Zaino to top it off.

$800- $1400 for wet sanding done properly.

Take that $300 buks buy a Porter Cable 7424xp and the correct products and Micro towels and do a little research on how to's (Auto Geek is a great website for that), and take your time and do it yourself, it really isnt that hard, plus you get the satisfaction of a job well done by your own 2 hands.

For that initial $300 buk output you should have enough product to do your vehicle for a couple years.
