Still going strong when was the last time you leveled it? Also get down there with a flashlight and look for a spring laying in the bottom or hanging. Reinstall it you still have many good years in it. Or buy a new piece of crap.

Find a young nimble person and have them jiggle the tub around they will feel where it let go. Rehook the spring and give it a bit of added bend. Then buy the kid a pizza.

Get your husband to move it into the opening and properly diagnose the problem.

Not good.

My washing machine is older than that. To be expected as it's "industrial quality" but it did die recently. E-searched a schematic of the model, then the part numbers, and ordered online.

A metal sleeve bearing lost grip on the plastic pulley it was press fit into shredding the belt. U-tube had a couple how-to vids on how to do the installation.

PITA but easy as pie and it's been working good ever since. I'll do laundry by hand before subjecting myself to the death loop of inferior craftsmanship and disposable (Made in China) appliances.

We have a 20+ year old front loader that I've fixed a few times. board replaced under warranty just after we got it, couple of new water pumps, replaced the bearings on the drum myself, and replaced a module that did something (forgot what it was), and it is still going strong. Total cost for the work so far, less than 200.00.
