Owned by the Bastian Family Trust aka Bruce Bastian the guy that founded and sold WordPerfect. Last I heard he was worth about $1.5 billion. Nice house but it's in Orem.

4,000 sq ft for just my me and my wife and two small dogs. Absolutely stupid on our part. We'll end up downsizing in a couple years when the last of the grandkids are older.

Most are in finance or RE, and usually using a lot of 'other people' money to leverage greater or charge management fees.

I know a dood, runs hedge finds, note the 's', he is 5% load and up to 20% management, very few withdrawals in past 20 years.
He could live the next 500 years off his own wealth, but goes to work everyday, as enjoys winning for his investors.

His primary is not as big, but he has 100 acres, wiser, as easier to add or rebuild, not so easy to get your neighbors to leave.

Happened in NC actually and regularly does. State laws here give them unbelievable power.
The lady was never served papers because of covid so she never signed anything. Figured it was junk mail and tossed the letters.
I have nothing against a lein for non payment of HOA dues but they're using it as a money grab and screwing people over.
State law needs to change here...

I am with you, and the tape confirms that in order to take a home through the courts, the first item addressed by the judge is proof the owner was served, and was given sufficient time to respond.

If this indeed happened, a good attorney would get a cease order for against hoa so they could not sell, get the case back to judge who allowed, prove SHE WAS NOT SERVED.

The owner should be able to get her home back, AND THEN sue for damages due to hoa violated the law and her rights.
