And most of those who own a place like that own multiple properties.

I personally know a man who has a place like that. And it’s bay front. He also has a beach front home. A mountain home. And a 2,000 acre farm.

The annual operating budget for his bay front home alone is over a million dollars.
He’s been operating the farm for almost 10 years at a loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. After 10’s of millions of dollars invested, the goal for the farm is to break even someday.

He owns hundreds of thousands of square foot of commercial real estate. Retail. Office. Restaurant. Hotel. Warehouse. Multi family residential.
I have no idea how he sleeps at night.

Would make a nice museum but with the state of popular culture these days I wouldn't expect to see many visitors. Might have to install a bunch of closets and a sex toy rental shop in the basement

Speaking of... Did you hear about the lady who had her house sold out from under her by an HOA for non-payment of the fee? She had lived there so long the house was paid off. Claims she never heard anything about an HOA until the new owner called to ask when she was moving out. Was reported she owed the HOA $1500 and they stole her house
