This Confederate flag controversy is moronic...

1. The Confederate battle flag was never the official flag of the Confederacy.
The Confederate States of America went through three different flags during the Civil War, but the battle flag wasn’t one of them. Instead, the flag that most people associate with the Confederacy was the battle flag of Gen. Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia. Some of you have already pointed this out.

2. The flag is divisive? Most Americans do not care. The majority, 58 percent, reported feeling neither positive nor negative.

3. The Confederate flag is located at a confederate war memorial. It's not representing the state of South Carolina. It's funny how anybody would believe that removing a confederate flag from a confederate war memorial will unify blacks and whites!

4. Amazon, etc. banned the sale of Confederate flags. The company still sells Nazi flags...although not at this moment. Apparently recognizing the irony of its decision, there are no Nazi flags for sale on Amazon today. Yesterday there were:

What do you want to bet that Nazi flags will return to Amazon when the publicity is no longer hot?

5. Walmart's stated goal in not selling the Confederate flag was to show the world that Walmart opposes racism and will not sell offensive symbols. Oh but wait, what Walmart has NOT removed is the picture of a man who was not only racist, he actually KILLED black people.

Walmart is selling several posters and prints glorifying dead communist thug Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara. Guevara was a notorious anti-Black racist from Argentina who murdered hungry children and became an icon for leftists around the world for his role in the 1959 communist takeover of Cuba.

6. Isn't it only fair to take slaveholders such as George Washington off our currency or even renaming our national capital?

I live in Mississippi, the DEEP SOUTH. I have not seen a Confederate flag as a car license plate, on a car window, flying in somebody's front yard, etc,, for many years. To suddenly say the Confederate flag is a symbol of hate just defies logic. Yes, it flies over some State Office Buildings, but nobody GARA. Some people need to get a life.

I have had this ideal since well before the white lady recently passing off herself as being black with the NAACP. We should all start joining the "race" and "ethnic" groups and clubs who proclaim themselves as "black" or "Hispanic". Enroll in the traditional black colleges and Universities. Enter our daughters in the Black Miss American pagents. Join the Afro American Corvette Club of Houston...its only fair - right!

Yep, the rebel flag has been MIA around here for 20 years. Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't make a reappearance after this shit show though. Considering hanging one in my garage just as a GFY to all of the **** tards.
