Default Here's what sick people in the South eat for Supper...

This is why I grow a garden:

One, I picked 2 ears of sweet corn, cut off the ends, leave husks on, and microwave them in a covered container with a little water in the container for 1.45 minutes.

Two, I picked a huge Russin Black Heirloom tomato.

Three, I picked some small, tender okra.

I made a batch of chicken salad: One 12 oz. can of white chicken (use white tuna if you prefer), dill pickle and sweet relish, minced onion, Duke's mayo, a dash of yellow mustard, a dash of Grey Poupon, some sliced black olives, black pepper, and some crushed walnuts. Put the salad in the middle of a big ripe tomato that has been sliced into large sections.

Cut the stem end off the okra and make a lengthwise slit in it. Stuff with jalapenos, coat with beaten egg and peppered corn meal. Fry as corn cooks in microwave

Serve everything on a plate with saltine crackers and your choice of a drink.

Wasn't interesting until you said "choice of a drink".
