Sorry guys, didn't mean to turn this into a sobfest! I thank you all for the well-wishes, but I don't want to dwell until there's a reason to dwell!


My biggest influence is my mom's mom, my grandma (that I only met once): She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, but she refused to accept it. She felt that if she accepted it, she owned it. And she did not want it. She ended up living for another 8 yrs past that, and finally passed (NOT of heart failure either) at 88 yrs old.

Yeah, me too. I'm gonna be a mess!

We've gotten really, really close the last few years, and I sure wish I hadn't wasted the first 18 yrs or so. But I've enjoyed every second with him since!

Will miss him terribly.
