Martha Stewart Forum Living: About to burn that bridge? Here's a hot tip...

Good afternoon everyone!

So, you've decided to leave a lame forum and want to make it an event, and at the same time assure you will be remembered. Here's a simple, easy way to make that happen. For this to work, you need to begin before you're banned.

Go to photobucket, and upload some mundane photos. They can be puppies, cars, buildings, whatever. Just 3 or 4 different, innocuous pics.

Here are some I made earlier...







Go to the forum you're leaving and post prolifically, making sure to include your innocuous pics in each post. It is important to sprinkle your pics as widely as possible. Don't forget PR&C!

Once you've peppered the whole forum with your pics and posts, burn the bridge, go ahead and get banned, preferably in an epic fashion.

Now, quickly go to photobucket and delete your innocuous pics and replace them with porn, gore, or maybe even a message for the mods. Just make sure you name your new pics exactly the same as your innocuous pics.

These examples have been censored, yours should be nasty, drippy and brimming with scat, if at all possible.







Once uploaded, the new pics will appear in your posts, where the innocuous pics used to be, like magic, confusing the mods, and assuring your epic meltdown legend.

It's a wonderful thing...

Couldn't one just spend a few months stalking a troll on the internet, documenting everything he/she posts in all kinds of different forums, essentially building a case against them to call them out. Then, once all the information is gathered including links, photos pulled from posts, contradicting statements, etc. start a thread calling them out and breaking all rules of conduct regarding treatment of fellow forum members on said forum?

I've been very tempted to do this in the past when people have hot linked my pictures to their ebay or whatever ads.

that sounds like work...but it is effective, or so i've heard....

never thought of the old photo swap trick, i have to get out more....

Hey now, I never even got a warning for that! It was the huge hootered chick in the pink tank top that got me nailed!

BTW, dogcatvette/mwct has been slowly posting again on a couple forums... he thinks people have forgotten him. Oh how wrong he is... so very, very wrong.

Had nothing to do with it, at least as far as I know. The two did happen close to one-another, but the dcv thing was never mentioned in the discussions of my ban. I was told that I had exceeded the allowed number of violations in my super-secret permanent file and Ms. Tank Top was the final nail in the coffin.

Yes, those that remember will recall that I replaced the porn with tasteful bikini photos shortly after posting, for exactly that reason. My beef was with the mods, not the members.
